چکیده
In this paper, the extended finite element method (XFEM) is first applied to account for weak discontinuity of axisymmetric electrostatic field. Firstly, interface between two materials in an described by level set method. The enrichment function used modify shape elements. Secondly, illustrate feature function, distribution diagrams functions sub-elements are drawn. 3D field can be simplified field, which reduce difficulty calculation. Finally, models with bubbles liquid nitrogen prove reliability XFEM. Compared conventional (CFEM), XFEM costs lower computing resources almost same computational accuracy.

Extended Finite Element Method for Statics and Vibration Analyses on Cracked Bars and Beams
In this paper, the extended finite element method (XFEM) is employed to investigate the statics and vibration problems of cracked isotropic bars and beams. Three kinds of elements namely the standard, the blended and the enriched elements are utilized to discretize the structure and model cracks. Two techniques referred as the increase of the number of Gauss integration points and the rectangle...
متن کاملA Super - Element Based on Finite Element Method for Latticed Columns Computational Aspect and Numerical Results
This paper presents a new super-element with twelve degrees of freedom for latticed columns. This elements is developed such that it behaves, with an acceptable approximation, in the same manner as a reference model does. The reference model is constructed by using many Solid elements. The cross section area, moments of inertia, shear coefficient and torsoinal rigidity of the developed new elem...

متن کاملAnalysis of Axisymmetric and Non-Axisymmetric Stretching of Sheet Metals by the Finite Element Method
Stretching process of sheet metals in both cases of axisymmetric and non-axisymmetric is analyzed. A rigid-plastic, normal anisotrop material is assumed and large strain formulation is applied. Triangular elements are used and stiffness equations of elements are obtained from virtual work principle. These nonlinear equations are linearized by Newton-Raphsons method and are solved by Gaussian el...
متن کاملA fast and exact computational method for crack propagation based on extended finite element method
This study presents a fast and exact computational method for crack propagation which is based on the extended finite element method (X-FEM). It is well known that the X-FEM has been developed to be an important numerical method for crack propagation. However, there are still some limitations on the computational cost due to the requirements of very refined meshes and very small iteration step ...
